MSV donates PalmerSport driving day to a lucky Marshal

Monday, June 10 2013

MSV Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer awarded a PalmerSport driving day to a lucky Marshal at the Brands Hatch American SpeedFest event yesterday (Sunday).

The prize, which is donated by MSV, is awarded to a member of the British Motorsport Marshals Club annually to help encourage recruitment. This year a day driving six high performance cars to their limits at PalmerSport's Bedford Autodrome facility was given to Jeremy Turner.

Jeremy is a member of the south east region of the club and has been marshalling for 32 years.  In his youth, Jeremy tried Moto Cross and Auto Cross before deciding it was less dangerous - and less expensive - on the other side of the barriers!

Stephen Green, National Public Relations Officer of the BMMC said: "Jeremy puts in around 50 days marshalling a year, mainly at Snetterton and Brands Hatch.  Since the prize is very generously donated by Jonathan Palmer, it is particularly fitting that this year's winner spends his time marshalling at MSV Circuits.  Best of luck, Jeremy; you do really have a treat in store!"
